Default B16a block w/ ITR Head

Hi yall! New member here and I am glad to be here. :D

I have all the materials for an ITR setup except for the block. The current block I received had all the cylinder walls cracked, so... I am thinking of going with a b16a block, or if I can find a b18c, but money is the problem so I am weighing my options, but will everything fit into the block if the rest of the stuff is ITR? In terms of my pistons they are JDM Pistons 11:1 P73.

I donno I have looked into this, but I don't feel safe on this one.

Thoughts?

The ITR head is based on a B16A casting. They are basically the same thing, except for the ITR bits inside it, and some light porting. You'll be just fine.

Hm I am wonder which setup would be easier the ls or the b16a. However, I do feel like I would get better gas mpg out of the ls block, no?

b16 would be easier. but If he is already upgrading pistons why bother. all u have to do for the ls is use stepped dowels and run a oil line ...

Sorry Im not sure what you mean by op. Newbie here lol, but yeah I'll see what I can find, the one I posted up on ebay doesn't seem too bad, but I am seeing some b16a blocks for around the same price.

If your crank and rods are gsr or ls you will want to find a ls or gsr block. B16 would require b16 crank/rods.

Alright so with the LS block, what parts would I need?
Note I have the old ITR engine fully built, but I would just be replacing the ITR block for a ls one.

I know I am going to a ls vtec conversion kit for like 200-300, but is there anything else? Or is everything else replaceable from my old ITR block?

Would I need: ??
ARP rod bolts
APR head studs
Do I need to buy new ACL bearings?

I feel like this is technically all I need to buy??

suggestions ? Am missin something?
