jdm b20b erratic idle
has anyone with a faulty iacv had trouble using their a/c.,
my a/c wants to give out on my while driving, leads me to believe my iacv is going bad also when in neutral my idle hovers a tad over a grand and is very sticky on cold starts..takes FOREVER to settle to a grand in the morning...or after sitting for a couple hours...

the idle when hot at a redlight after a quick take off sits about 1100 then after 15 seconds shell settle back down to 1000
when a/c is put on the car will idle at 1000 some times 800 then when i drive the car will hesitate and when i come to a stop and push clutch in the idle drops low as **** then it'll be fine..same for in park

have you tried what I asked? I didn't even bother helping further because you didn't even try what I asked you just tried to further explain what it's doing. Just telling us what the RPM's are is in no way helpful in trying to get your car running right.
When the car is hot (radiator fan is running) and you are parked. Pull the plug on the IACV. what does the car do then?
My suggestions. check for vacuum leaks, clean up your IACV and your throttle body.

i went and bought a different iacv. praying it works.
my idle its stable at 1000...when cars hot and i come to a stop the idle will drop and feel like it sputters then back to normal its really annoying when in traffic ....and some times its sticky it stays above 1100 then bback to normal....
my main problem is when i put my a/c on the car is fine but when i press the gas the car sputters , LIGHTS DONT FLICKER.....IT makes it impossiable to drive....
when cars cold in the morning it takes FOREVER for the idle to settle down to 1000 like 5 minutes i cant wait some times and i just drive off and the idle will be high tell the car wants to settle down...

i put in the new one, i took the old one out it was really dirty, ...and i also found out my tps sensor wasnt plugged in. so i had a dirty iacv and a disconnected tps sensor. you can imagen how my ride was...very uncomfortable .
but now the iacv has been replace , tps sensor is now connected my ride is smooth . im very happy. ;-D

didnt even think about that. i bet the IACV wasn't even the culprit. Also since you did replace the IACV you'll wanna bleed your coolant to make sure theres no air in the lines.
