Default lots of smoke!!

SO my fiance just purchased a 94 honda civic(vtech). Now when we bought the car we wheree told it needs a new valve seal... ok no problem.. but The guy failed to mention that a screw had broken off into the valve cover. WE where not able to get the screw out right away so my fiacne went ahead and put the new seal on and filled it with lots of sealant. now shes been running fine for about a week but now there is ALOT of white smoke when the car is given acceleration. its fine when we let off the gas. the car is running hot now and we havealso found it has a cracked manifold. some people say its piston rings some say headgasket.. there is still old oil on the engine from the previous owner supposly replacing the valve ckver. but i doubt that because of the broken screw. she is smoking so bad we got pulled over any ideas!?

white smoke = coolant. Running hot = probably no coolant = bad HG.

Do a compression test and/or leak down test to confirm

I stopped reading here.

A valve seal is internal. You can't fill it with sealant. You probably replaced a valve COVER seal.

What you probably need to replace is listed as 3 and 4 in this picture from Majestic Honda (click for link) (please note that I looked up a 94 Civic Si. Do not order anything until you've verified the parts are correct for the vehicle that you own.)
