I had to drill and pull the plugs exhaust manifold to clean it . after I put it back together I get a check engine light. it is idling at900 in stead of 750 like it was and it shifts funny.slow to go into drive from reverse. long time to shift from 2to 3. park light is red andd4 light green when key first turned on thend4 goes away and p turns green . is their any way to find out what check engine light means. ihave read how jump blue conn. for trans code thanks for any help l

If you have a 90-97 the blue connector will give you the code.
98-up require a code scanner.

well it looks like I forgot to kook up the wires to the tps light off now thanks for the help

 

1996 is when OBDII was mandatory on U.S. vehicles. So the 96-97 versions of the Accord also will accept a code scan tool. The port is located behind the ashtray.
