my friend wants to buy this shift **** for his 95 civic si automatic coupe
but it doesnt specify if it fits honda it says most auto tranny does anyone have any clue if it will

pull the shifter apart in ur car and look.... its 2 screws to take off and it slides off.... i forget if the button pushes down on the top of the shifter or not.. if it does im sure if will work... fake carbon fiber and obx is a Fail

 

Found it on Ebay. It's universal. My experience with "universal" parts off of Ebay is that they're not. They have a straight chrome model though.

 

I had this shift **** before on my integra... so I assume your car is automatic? It will fit nicely onto the stick, but you'll need to buy screws (for 1-2 of the front 3 holes) to hold it in place. Otherwise, the **** will be moving up and down when you push that button.

Also, it's not really worth it. I think this stuff is like over $70 right? It looks really nice, but it feels like cheap plastic. It's not heavy duty for the most part so don't get your hopes up when it comes in the mail if you do decide to get it.

 

my experience with "universal parts" (specifically with a razo shift ****) is that they give you a bunch of blank threads or whatever you call it, and you make the thread yourself to fit your car...but idk for this since it's automatic..but honda has a pretty big aftermarket-market, so i'm sure it'll fit if it's universal.

 

Why even bother?

It won't match anything in the car, and looks like its outta the skid section at Walmart....

 

well its not for my car so i rlly dont care how it looks like lol if my homie likes it thaan well he can buy it but thanks for the feedback ill let him know and see if he will take it.
