1994 turbo accord 2.2, help
Hello,
I purchase a 1994 Honda accord that has been turbo charged.
It sat for three years besides the gas what else should I expect to change, should I take the injectors out and clean them? Any advise would be appreciated.
It still has all the V-tec stuff so I need to keep that all in mind as well.
Thank you

Just an idea dont know how close or far, coolant if it was diluted with to much water will sit in motor and sorta rust. a flush would be good but that goes along with what NSX mentioned.
ANYWAYS. You can flush the coolant by removing your thermostat housing and spraying water into the water pipe, same with the upper radiator hose port on the block.
So I drained the fuel, replaced the Fuel filter and built a injector cleaning tool.
When I Cleaned the injectors three of the four sprayed very erratically , so I have a feeling this was the issue. I will let you know when I get it back together and if it runs.
Thanks for all the advise.

I used the momentary switch with small alligator clips and wire, my power source was the cars battery. I used injector cleaner and a compressor with fuel hose and some hose clamps.
It worked like a champ!

How did you get the injector cleaner in front of the inlet so it could run through? Just bought a pair of Evo 560cc's and I want to clean them. But using a simple hose sounds way simple.
The best inventors were poor, really poor.
The clamps hold the hose on the injector and the barb on the air line.
Make sure you clean them from the outlet side first.
Parts:
Fuel line that fits snug on injector.
Air line with barb end to place inside of hose.
Two hose clamps.
Injector cleaner.
Momentary switch and 12 volt source.
The rest is upto you, use your imagination, the key is your fuel line needs to be three foot long.
If you don't figure it out get back to me, but really try to figure it out your self first.

Nail on the head.
Yes it is a very rudimentry setup it is on low cost and high on results.
I have sense cleaned 24 injectors this way and they all work like new now.
Pour a little injector cleaner in the fuel hose, then put the fuel hose on the outlet side. Yes outlet, this is to blow out the gunk first. Then repeat process and blow through the inlet side. The jets will go from clumpy to perfect jets.
I will add pictures soon.

So i did a tune up and cleaned the injectors, it starts up with no problems.
I still need to chainge the trimming belt. Before I really get on it.
I will get some picks and updates soon.

I autocross mine with the V6/wagon supension and the EX rear sway/LX front sea, and 245/50r16s. Works pretty good but in terms of a 'real' suspension setup it could be alot better. It'll pickup the rear inside wheel if you toss it enough.
haven't done a roadrace yet though.
