5th gen. V6 rebuild or swap options
My son moved on to better things and I got his '96 Accord V6 EX (auto). A good car, but... So I have refurbished it and have won several class show awards. I intend to keep it a long time, but I really want more lower end torque. I am seriously considering a rebuild or swap. I have a CAI and a Magnaflow SS cat-back 23/4 exhaust, and G-Force performance chip. About all I can do in bolt-on's. (Also, 2" lower Eibach springs, Wilwood big brakes, front and rear Suspension Technique antisway bars, Koni shocks, body kit, taillight change and HID headlight and grill change. Motegi 18" wheels, and more.)
I am prepared to do a rebuild using headers(would have to be custom made), titanium rods, aluminum forged pistons, .5mm cyl. overbore, minimum head mills, head and valves overbore, and new rechip or piggyback computer. Is there any wild *** estimate of such a rebuild? Or what swaps are available and at what cost comparison? Or, is there any thing that can be done in the tranny area?

I would do a j-swap to be honest. What country are you from? If you don't have any emissions testing you can swap in a j35 from a 02-04 odyssey and have gobbles of torque but I think all the mounts would have to be custom though
Thanks for ideas. Changing mounts is really troublesome. (I know from exterience.) I also wonder about the sensor outputs of one motor for the ECU of another motor. The electrical interface would have to be addressed. Hmmm. Who has actually faced that, I wonder. Still, something to consider.
