Default What kind of lowering springs do you recommend?

Hello,

I'm a newbie here, and I just picked up some si wheels for my 94 eg CX. I'm looking to lower the car and was curious on what springs I should get? I plan on doing a full suspension and brake upgrade later on this year, but is there some budget friendly lowering springs out there that aren't too ***tty? Just looking for something temporary to make the car sit good with those si wheels. Feels like im driving a monster truck.

I found these on ebay, how are these? Drops my car 1.6" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Civic-Del-Sol-Acura-Integra-JDM-1-6-Suspension-Blue-Lowering-Springs-Kit-/300887372069?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item460e48f125&vxp=mtr
Picture of my car below..

Don`t go eBay, you will regret buying them. If your on a tight budget, you can get the Eibach sport kit for under $500. It`ll drop you about 1.8", and the ride is pretty good. Check my build thread in my sig to see my car on them, check the last few pages...

Well like I said it's temporary. It's not something i'm going to build with. Just something to use to lower my car and it'll all be replaced within 8months. Probably less than that tbh.

Probably 9/10 of all the owners who bought crappy a$$ parts to throw onto their cars used the motto "its only temporary until I can afford something nicer". Stock is better than trash, period.

Terrible from what I have heard. No first hand knowledge though. Most people rave about the koni/ground control combo, or the tokico whites/ground control combo. Other than that, I don't know much about it.

EDIT: I see they are just the springs, not the coilovers. I don't know about their springs.

Springs aren't half bad imo(had them on my civic w/Koni yellows) the colis are "junk2" tho.

Why do you want to spend money twice?

anyways, just find some used springs. H&R, Neuspeed, Eibach.

Co-sign. I really don't understand the purpose of these threads. You obviously are impatient and do not want to save additional funds to do it correctly, don't think your car is worth dumping that kind of money into or just want someone to sign off on your poor decision. You might even be one of those people that just have to experience things for yourself as a life lesson and will ignore everything anyone says no matter how many people say it.

These kinds of threads should be locked automatically.

Hatch look's super clean. Do it right the first time OP or don't do it at all.

Where? I looked at progress the other day to order them and they were $650-$670. I know they used to be $595 for HT members so i decided to wait for the price to go back down lol
