So stock bottom end other than CTR pistons ? you won't see 9.5K very many times let alone make power into it. alot more is needed to hit 9.5k let alone make power into it

what do YOU think?

This is a technical discussion forum. Without specific questions there is only going to be random people recommending various changes to your build for various reasons. Some good reasons, some bad reasons. And some advice is going to come from people who are uneducated on these builds.

So with that said, what do you think? And what research have you done that would support the goals you have set? Not that revving to a certain RPM should be any goal.......

i havent found many builts with toda c cams, i made some specific questions, but im have my doubts about the high range power cams and the reliability of the engine.... with that said...

HOW are you going to rev to 9.5K on virtualy stock internals and make power.... have you looked at this https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/10-000-rpm-2234173/

i thought it was clear that i dont care about rpm, just making those cams to produce or do what they should....

not going to happen. Advertising is BS. Quite a few cams say "9000" or "9500". Dont believe everything you read.

Not in you'r OP you weren't. throw it on a dyno and see where you'r power drops off.

You gotta give us something to go on because it it appears you are just throwing parts at it then that means you havent done much research to know the parts will work well. What have you researched that supports the goals you are looking for?

those CTR pistons in a GSR will be more than 12:1 compression. I specifically went with Standard B16 pistons instead of CTR to keep the compression DOWN to 12:1... CTR will be no less than 13:1 and now you're talkin race gas only. But my setup, b16 pistons .5mm oversized, titanium valvetrain and custom grind cam thats hardly as aggressive as stock ITR cams tuned with an s200 made 188whp at about 8000rpm. Revs to 9000 easily, but not making any power there. So if you actually put it together the way you say with those cams and pistons, it should make much more power than me easily, probly at a higher RPM, but have fun with that 7.50/gal race gas every fill-up.

Where is this 13:1 compression you speak of coming from? It's more like 12:1 and at most 12.5:1 with CTR pistons in a GSR. I personally ran this set-up twice now, once with P72 head and once with PR3. Both motors had measurements done and did not show anything over 12.5:1

i actually have a good one, pump gas is not to good here in DR , im thinking of mix 2 gal of 103 oct fuel and 4 premium fuel to ensure the quality....

The online compression calculators are to be used as a ballpark reference...it is in no way accurate. I only trust real world measurements of the actual head/piston/block whatever.

If i go off that zeal calculator, I am currently running 91 octane on a 13.83 CR motor? Doubtful...
