Please take the time to read the thread as there is a lot of information contained here. Please keep negative comments to yourself and keep the thread clean. Thank you

Why I'm selling: My original intention was to gut it and use it for lapping days/HPDEs since I didn't want to risk any damage to my new Nissan 370Z. My days of renting apartments are over and I'm looking to buy a house before the end of the year. I simply don't have the time to put into the car and I'd like to see this go to someone who will convert this into a proper track car. Car has a VA title but is located in Trexlertown, PA 18087 for the time being. Be mindful that the car is 22 years old, so it needs work.

1991 Honda CR-X Si
Price: $2,600 *FIRM* or $3300 with spare B16A (not installed). ** NO TRADES **
Mileage: 178,754
Color: Rio Red with Black Cloth Interior
Engine: B18A1 mated to Y1 trans (with optional LSD), B16A available
VIN: available upon request

Info: R-Title in hand and I have three sets of keys. The engine starts and runs but I'd highly recommend towing it home. It burns oil (could be valve stem seals, valve guides, etc) and some electrical gremlin that's responsible for the CEL and battery/alternator light. Car does not have valid/current inspection. Previous owner reported that the car had been in an accident (hit in the right rear, which I found evidence of in the area above the right tail light in the hatch area) and repainted after that. Reverse lights and coolant temp gauge don't work, but I think that's the result of the wiring in the engine bay. Chassis/underneath are surprisingly clean and not as rusted as I'd thought they'd be for a 22 year old car.

The power moon roof still works, and the interior is 98% complete, which is hard to find in a CR-X anymore. The driver seat has significant wear (Gorilla black duct tape used to fix tears), rear hatch leaks during hard rain, etc... typical CR-X problems. Body and paint is in okay shape; has surface rust from rock chips but there's no rust/cancer spots in the rear fender wells. I'd installed a radio delete plate (and have the antennae delete plate/gasket too), but there are still speakers in the car (it's a track car, not a touring car after all!) and used the "PaulyD" climate control repair kit too (new face plate).

Extras: Comes with B18A1/OBD1 conversion, Greddy timing belt, Magnaflow catback exhaust, Skunk2 lowering springs, CTR N1 pulley and Hasport motor mounts. The car will come with the 14" BMW wheels shown. Battery was just replaced and I purchased new OE Honda J-hooks, nuts and the battery tie-down to go with the battery. I also have a B16A (JDM SiR) engine that can be included for an additional $700. I'd recommended finding an uncut engine harness to complete the swap, and to resolve the electrical issue.

More pictures available upon request.

Looks good. If you still have this a month or so from now I'll probably be hitting you up about it.

Just came across a set of VW snow flake wheels in my garage that can be negotiated into the sale as well. They're 14x6 et38 4x100. Complete the retro look!

Guys, I know it's a lot of information but all of the questions I'm getting via text or private messages are already addressed in the first post.

To summarize:
- Car is located in Trexlertown, PA 18087 (Google it if you're unsure of the distance)
- Car should be towed, in fact, I highly encourage it because it needs a new engine
- I have a B16A available for $700 extra, but I do not have the time to swap it in because I live 3hrs from where I have the car stored. B16 CRX's are going for $4k on here, my asking price leaves you with more than enough money to complete the swap

Not sure. I've put a lot of time into documenting everything and taking pictures, unlike most of the for sale threads on here

I had it out for a 30min drive and it was rough - I don't want it on me if the engine blows since you'd be driving it 7+ hours. A U-Haul trailer is $60; no reason to chance driving it home
