I have an 89 honda hatch.. I have a bit of a problem.. The car starts and runs great, but when I turn the key off and pull it out, the engine will stay running UNLESS i take my foot off of the brake.. then the engine will shut off, but after the engine is shut off if i press the brake again, the dash lights will illuminate.. What could this possibly be? what steps should i take to try and diagnose this? It doesnt prevent me from going anywhere, it's just annoying and Im hoping it wont lead to other problem.. also, the engine is NOT DEISELING, it will continue to run until i take my foot off the brake..
