A week or so ago STP posted in this forum a Multipurpose Motor Treatment which STP indicated as superior over other products like Seafoam.

I was interested in this product, but questioned the numbers they presented. Specifically I emailed them if they could provide insight into what their figures represented, and under what conditions the products were tested.

This is their reply:
"Thank you for contacting us about STP. We always appreciate hearing from our consumers.

I apologize, but we do not have that information available in Customer Service.

I was not able to find the original post by STP. I thought it only fair to post this here in response to their new product, which I will not be purchasing.
