Different Header - Anyone tried this one?
I'm not affiliated, but looking for a header and was wondering if anyone had tried this design?
I'm worried that it will fit with A/C. I like that is samples the o2 from all 4 ports vs 1 on the other cheap headers.

OBX SILVER PAINTED HEADER
1.7" primaries (od), 2.4" collector (id), 1.8" downpipe (id)

Considering this is for a stock D series that I just want to flow better for a few hp and mpg, and to loose the weight of the OE setup, What header should I go with? Maybe the ebay cheapies are suitable in my case?

@doctorake- I'm just trying to help. There's other things id spend on than any single cam parts. Id start saving for a motor swap or boost, etc. However, if op is not going to do either, then yes I would suggest i/h/e. and what's your suggestion...??
Op- look into import tuner magazine if you're really curious how much gain from these items. There's tons of civics in power pages section. Hell, you might find a better way to get power for less.

I saw an article done they did on a b series 4-2-1 vs 4-1 and really either one gained 4hp but at different parts.
I just want to clean up, make efficient and loose weight on my d16.. its a daily driver autox wannabe. an ebay cheapie will probably do just fine in my case. i'll be adding a magnaflow cat and a flowmaster 60 series muffler.

There's d series in the power pages I know for sure cuz I was looking in there a couple weeks ago. But,ya, basically a very small gain for each individual part. I want to say there's more result for less from a cold air(filter outside engine bay). However, all these together net a larger gain(duh)...
Good luck, I hope you get something for your $. I have a Vibrant steel core high flow cat($70), not sure if magnaflow is more...
Edit: and yes, 4-1 is power on top vs 4-2-1 is power on bottom. I've had both on same eng and butt dyno'd both lol

In reality just find an EX tranny and put that in and leave the motor stock. You'll feel way more push than you will with an I/H/E setup. Trust me cuz I have that and a chipped ecu and I run side to side on LS swapped EKs with bolt ons.
Yeah I shoulda went EX with the tranny... but I just had mine redone so i'm gonna stick with it.
I got the magnaflow cat for $80 shipped.. it'll go on soon as I find a header.. flowmaster 60 goes on today... lol
