suspension help
What suspension will covert over to a 1991 honda si hatch? I am pushing 185 hp or more and i know stock suspension wont handle the torque from my lsd locker in my rebuilt d16a6. I know 90-93 rear brakes swap over but do i need to increase my rim size? My front lower control arms are welded where castle nuts used to be. Yes I know very unsafe but penny pinching at the time it happened. what will be the stiffer aftermarket suspension out there? acura integra shocks fit?
from what ive gathered pretty much the whole suspension from a DA integra will swap over but there is a few pieces from the ef you need to correct camber, unless you get a quality camber kit.
what do you mean wont handle the torque, only problem I or my friends have had with high power EF's have been trans/axle problems,
(snapped an axle Friday night at the drag strip, slapped a new one in the same night and left a $75000+ corvette down I-26 then blew the trans out doing a burnout contest the next Friday night. and the trans was driver error. damn thing was spinning 4th in the burnout box.)
blew out a sleeve passing a (dyno proven) 750AWHP evo down I-26 few weeks later RIP Pinky

both sides left and right lower control arms welded and grinded down to mushroom head. a temporary fix. I have a sl3 transmission case with b18 final drive and lsd locker and b18 gears 1st to 3rd 4th is D16 gear and fifth is a dead gear basically so low it bogs engine down. O/D= Cruise. The lsd locker keeps tearing front transmission mount. Its bondoed for now. Like a brick. but I want a suspension thats stiff but doesnt have too much over steer with lsd. Stock suspension doesnt hold good. 145 mph it feels like the car isnt touching the ground no control. I'm wanting adjustable coils to atleast 2 inches off ground. camber i never have a problem with on hondas. Manual steering is a beast. KYB or Skunk2? TYCs i had on my 1990 honda crx she handled good for a h22 engine. For wheel size i'm going to a 15inches alloy. 8 or 16 spoke style.
