How to space CRX Brake Booster / MC properly
Hey all. I just had to order a new brake booster for my 91' rex. I had a wicked vacuum leak under breaking, and the problem/hissing went away if i removed and plugged the vacuum line going to the engine. ANYWAY. I've read that the tolerance between the MC and the brake booster needs to be set correctly. If anyone can translate honda manual mumbo jumbo that'd be great. Do I just need to adjust the brake booster piston so the MC sits flush to the brake booster housing without any resistance (while trying to mate it to the BB)? OR do you want to depress the MC piston some? Sorry for all the questions, Just want to make sure I set the new booster up right. Thanks.
I just read the clearance I'm referencing SHOULD be set when I get the new part. And all that needs setup is the pedal to booster junction which I'm fine with. Can anyone confirm?
