HellaFab Fabrication Pics
Just a few pictures of an exhaust I just finished plus a few of my favorite pictures of past work.
I have some IC piping and a full 3" exhaust coming up on an EK civic in the next few weeks.

the pipe work looks good, and if you are going for a function>form thing you are good. if you are shooting for baller fabrication then things like that bracket on the tail end of the exhaust need help
Looks fine to me, although the mounting bracket could be nicer you need a brake to do it properly, but at least it has a bracket and its welded both sides. Good work.

Thanks.
Just doing this work to stay in the car scene. Its not a full time thing for me, just a hobby. This is just a place for me to share my pictures and possibly get some feeback from people who do this regularily.
I do what people are interested in having done to their cars and I have no intent in doing production stuff.
I will have more pictures coming up soon like I mentioned of some EK pipe work.

It sounds great.
The owner of the car seems to think its going to get him into trouble, so I will be adding a vibrant race muffler in there for him after the Civic comes through for IC pipe and exhaust work.

Im just in a small 1.5 car doing most of this work.
I have been in larger shops but they were a good distance away and it doesnt make sense for me to do any work out of it being an hour (one way) away. I still keep my larger specialty tools there that I will grab if I have a specific job that I need it for.
I use mainly my bandsaw for cuts. Its clean and I can leave it on to do its work while I am off cleaning up another pipe, taking a measurement or finishing a weld.
I build fixtures for pipes if I am making repetitive cuts to hold it in my bandsaw instead of trying to cut it with a hand grinder over and over or using some sketchy temporary fixture.
I borrowed this idea from one of the threads on this website, but here is my fixture for cutting collectors.

I dont want to get in trouble on here so if you want to chat further send me a message through my facebook page.

No trouble intended. I figured if people were allowed to "insult" that I could enquire about tooling and business. I just put an order in for a dynasty and will be hopefully takin on small jobs and just wanted I know how others manage. Thanks
SO pumped with how the intake pipe for the turbo kit im building turned out.
for those of you not subscribed to my facebook page, here is a pic. couple more on my page.

that looks really good, I just fabricated a system for my 86, all the way from the header, even made the muffler, I know how much work it takes, I did all the fabrication and my late friend did all the welding
Thanks for the words guys.
Been trying new things lately with different tungsten to find my own preference. Im using some purple hybrid tungsten now (e3) and Im really enjoying them vs my previous setup.
Using the E3 for both aluminum on AC and stainless on DC and love the stability of the tip even on high cleaning with AC. With a lot of cleaning I am pushing it though for the 1/16" tungsten at 70a.

Not a single exhaust pipe in the system that is not comprised of a v-band setup now :-)

You can see one of my brand new Hasport polished mounts on the table along with some of stuff going down for fab work....

Had a little garage photoshoot of my downsized setup for the time being. I miss my 40'x60' shop, but this is far more conveniently located.

I bought them from a local Stainless supplier to me in Kingston, Ontario. The clamps are quite reasonably priced.
I would assume that most stainless suppliers stateside could be able to get them. the clamps are used on pressure pipes in production systems.
