Hey guys. Thought I'd share my crv. I'm actually in the middle of an h2b swap. Here's how she sits now.

I'll be wiring it up tomorrow and hopefully driving it. Excuse the valve cover as its the temporary one.

nice header. dope setup.

i had a crv for a while and I wanted to do a j32 swap so bad. i called hasport about using their j mounts for an ek and they said they didn't think anyones ever even done a j swap on a crv. i didn't care about retaining the shitty *** clutch pack based awd system though.

That was the other swap idea. I may end up doing that down the road when I get bored of this.

Im a little stuck on the distributor wiring. Im trying to convert my b20b4 distributor plug to the h22a4 2 plug connectors with external coil. Alot of people say match the colors, but they dont match lol

i recently had that issue, turned out one set of wires were just a lot more faded than the other. best thing to do is open them both up and just figure out what wires go where, then match those up.

Bluehbcivics motor was designed with internal coil. Doing an internal coil swap now with b20 parts.

internal coils have a problem where they overheat and you have spark issues. external coils are better.

External coils bring more problems than gains. Show me a successful reliable Honda Circuit Car (most extreme conditions, heat/vibration etc) with a external coil.

Got it running right and been driving it. Being nice to it to allow the clutch to properly break in. Damn these 75a mounts are stiff.

Can you still retain a/c and p/s with that set up?

I wasnt able to retain ac or ps with it. Didnt really try though. As far as mounts, I used the qsd ek h2b kit with innovative motor mounts. Dropped right in aftwr modifying the h2b plate.
