Clutch problem
I have a 1991 EF with a b20b block, ls head, and ls tranny with a stage 5 sprung 4 puck competition clutch and it's acting weird. When the car is cold and I start it I have to pump the clutch to warm it up or it'll die when I put it into gear and just tonight I was at a light when the clutch went out. I jumped it to a friends and checked the clutch cable and it was loose. I tightened it up, pushed the clutch a few times and it stuck to the floor, checked the cable again and it was super loose. So I tightened it up and now it goes into gears fine but it let's way more power to the wheels. I don't even have to push the gas and it'll just take off when I let off clutch. If anybody has any ideas please help. Bump if viewed, please, thanks.
wow that sounds crazy. you might Ned to just replace the clutch cable. and make sure you don't strip any nuts or bolts. I think I might replace mine. if anyone knows about this. if you can help me out also. its not a major problem but my clutch is stiff and squeaks when I push it in.. is it time to replace y clutch cable??
