Clutch pedal changed distance needed to engage
So I noticed this wierd thing in my 95 Integra today. When I press down on my clutch I have to go down atleast a 1/3 of the way before it starts engaging. So the first 1/3 you can press up and down and it does nothing. So the distance you have to engage the clutch is very short. This in itself is not a problem, I can deal with it, but I'm worried this is a bigger problem and I would like to fix it before it bites me. Any ideas? My first thought was that a cable need to be tightened? If so how would I go about doing that.
You're disengaging the clutch when you're pushing on the pedal, no engaging it.
Chances are there's a leak in the hydraulic system, usually the master or slave cylinder is leaking and there's now some air in the system. Replace what's bad and bleed the clutch hydraulics. There is no cable with this setup.

Aright thank you, Ill add some more fluid and try to find whats leaking. I knew that you disengage, but I was in a hurry lol and wasn't thinking. Thanks for the help, its wierd that i didn't find out that it runs on a hydraulic system before, cus I did a whole lot of researching and nothin ever said anything about hydraulics. Again thanks for the help
I bleed the system and topped it off. Turns out there was no fluid at all...which is why it wasn't workin lol. I also bought a new master cylinder but im gonna wait a couple days to see how leaky it is. It seems wet inside by the pedal so i think its pretty leaky. Thanks everybody for the quick responses!
