Bad steering rack?
Ok, so I can grab my tie rod on passenger side and I can shake it around quite a bit, so I thought my car had just bad inner tie rods but I started taking it all apart and discovered that it is somehow my steering rack that has the play in it. The steering shaft that goes through the rack housing can move around inside the housing. But only on the passenger side not the driver side. I can hear it clunk sometimes over bumps and when I turn the steering wheel sharp while the car is not moving. And when I turn right there seems to be some kind of vibration that is sometimes there and sometimes not.
My question is if there is a way to rebuild the steering racks, or do I just need a certain part, or do I have to buy a brand new one? I've done a little research and it doesn't seem like it's going to be tooooo hard to change the rack out, but I was thinking of buying the Quaife quick ratio section and rebuilding it but not sure what parts are needed and where to get them from.
Or I can jsut settle with a $140 new rack.

Quick question if you know, am I supposed to be able to see the rack end bushing right at the end of the steering rack? If so then my car is completely missing it hahaha
