I JUST BOUGHT A COMPLETE D16Y7 SWAP BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT IT COMES WITH D15 INTAKE MANIFOLD W/ INJ + THROTT. I WANTED TO KNOW BEFORE I SWAP IT IN ..WOULD IT WORK WITH D16Y7 HARNESS? PLEASE LET ME KNOW..THANKS

 

just buy a d16y7 intake manifold there cheap

 

yes it will work but u will need obd1 injector clips unless the injectors are OBD2 y7 or y8 injectors. You will have to reuse your y7 TB if it doesnt have one on it already if u have a 3 wire style IACV. You wont be using the Air temp sensor on the manifold; you will reuse the one that you just stick into the intake pipe.

Y7 Intake manifolds are JUNK... thats why someone swapped it to begin with. Someone was on the right track although most desire the Bigger Pendulum the Y8 manifold has.
