Just wondering what's the WORST freeway to drive on when you have stiff suspension?

I say 91 East

 

605 north towards baldwin park. Err is that the 10? I dunno, they all suck.

smoothest i think is the 60

 

all the freeways suck. my worst enemies are the 91 carpool lanes (every other lane too) and the 710. i swear i heard something fall off my car on the 710 interchange with the 405.

 

i would have to say the 5 going north between the 605 and 710.. my car bounces like crazy..


also going on the 405 n right before you get to UCLA there are a few jumps!!! LOL

 

cali in general is all tore up 405 gettin toward west L.A. in particular, 91 isnt bad though

y dont u try out that stiff suspension on the 110fwy
(starting from pasadena to dodger stadium)

 

710 ownz j00 (and your suspension)

that's the main Hwy to the harbor so it gets beat up

 

the 2 is soooo smooth

 

210 north of Pasadena going toward the N. valley has got to be the best, very light traffic and very w i d e.

 

the jist - all of southern cali.

 

San Diego....I hate highway 94......all uneven, bumpy...just plain shitty...

 

All the freeways have bad, and good parts, except the 105 and 210, they are pretty much good the whole way

 

The SF valley side of 101 is really good actually--just repaved.
405 by Wilshire/UCLA... yeah man... hella big bumps, especially northbound... CalTrans--you listening?!
91, both directions on the western end.... ugh...
5- anywhere from downtown to that new section by Anaheim
134-not too bad at all
2-hella smooth
118--pretty smooth
23--smooth (by US standards), except for gravel trucks pitching rocks into your $$$ intercooler
90-smooth, but hella short
10-choppy driving thru the ghetto
710-choppy (lotsa harbor traffic)
110-not the greatest either
15--pretty good
210--pretty good
60-not bad, except near East LA.... could be better there...
22, 57, 55, 610... dunno... don't drive em enough...

I hate the dips that they have on the freeway. Can't they make the road nice and flat?? I have weaving in and out just to avoid some harsh dips and bumps that freeways have. Carpool on any freeway sucks!

 

Took the words right outta my mouth! The 110, IMO, is one of the top 5 worst freeways in cali. Most narrow and bumpy freeway i have ever seen! Other than that the 2, 210 and 134 are all a stones throw from my house and those arent too bad. Maybe a couple of dips here and there, but for the most part they aren't too bad.

710 sucks ***. 91 carpool sucks ***.

 

I think the 125 (might be wrong with the #) was the nicest freeway/road I had ever taken before. I was in Oxnard and was headed to Magic Mountain. It was an amazing scenic drive through farmland and small cities. Reminded me of what the San Fernando Valley looked like 60 years ago.

 

Yeah the 110 (yes, we say THE 110 here in SoCal) is pretty bad from downtown north up to Pasadena... it was one of the first freeways that was built if not the first, during the late 1940s.

Worst INTERCHANGE has got to be the 101/405 in the SF Valley though. I will admit it's pretty nice when you have R compound tires trying to take a cloverleaf at neck-breaking g-loads...

 

THE WORST PART OF THE 10 FWY:

I forget what exit its near at.. I believe La Brea exit West bound 10fwy.
as the fwy curves to the right. There is this HUGE bump on the very left lane. I was in my 1500lbs CRX and going 110mph at 3am and no cars in sight. I hit the bump and it makes the car move like crazy. I jumped 2 lans to the right and let the car just move there and not correct it.
anyways.. thats a scuky part of the 10, but im sure theres alot more.

There's a parking lot in San Diego, called the I5/805 split...

 

I hate the on ramp towards 405N from where the 110S and 405S/N split

 

101 to the 405N...pretty bad...or 405N coming from Santa Monica..the downhill part going towards the mullholland exit..u go downhill fast, but gotta watchout for eneven portions of the freeway ...

 

91 west definately gets my vote.. 405 s. from west LA also...
