First time at track with rex
Went to the track for the first time ever and i got a total of 4 runs. My very first run the track surface surprised me and i got a 15.6, my next 3 runs all were messed up launches and i got a 15.1 @92 and a 15.001@93. The machine was broken so they had no 60' times, but know they sucked. I am running some 13 inches tires, does that effect 60 ft. times? I know i can run 14.6's ill go back next week! Every time i launched i would either spin bad or bog bad...weird ****
Those are crappy times you are running. You have the lightest model EF and some nice bolt ones. I would think you should run a 14 flat or even a 13.9 with your setup.
u crazy yo
with that setup he might run anything from 14.6-15.6.... its not a ******* h22.... with all that **** he can run good but not all that.... maybe he can get mid 14's with slicks.... my buddy has a CRX with an LS with a 50 shot and slicks and he touches 14.5....

I ran 14.8 in a 90 Si b16. w/ intake and a chipped ecu on on street tires.
HF is 300lbs lighter and he has more mods. i would say it should hit a low 14.

Yeah man work on your launch and then you will be able to get down in the 14's. The hf is a lot lighter than all the other models so you should be easily in the 14's. By the way what were you launching at?

I was keeping it steady at 3k just before engagement point, and as soon as it turned green i would drop it. In the streets when i do that i get a nice launch with minimal wheel spin, when i did it at the track i bounced forward really quick and then bogged for a bit before getting traction. Then i did it a little higher like 3.5k and it spinned out too much. I have crappy tires, but **** i should at least get 14s. My 15 flat i revved like at 1.5k and just went out of the blocks as carefully as i could and i managed a 15 flat, man i wanna know so bad what 60' times are. I think i should be in the 14.5 territory.
man I hope I do better than that with my '91 hf/b16 w s1 tranny, how stiff is your suspension? mabey u should get some better tires. Grip and suspension are real important for those '60ft times.
Good luck getting down to 14.5, u can do it!

and if you think b16 crx hf can run 14 flat on street tires...you're wrong.

Don't drop the clutch with street tires. Ease it out really quickly if that makes sense. Try to keep a nice balance between traction and a little tiny bit of clutch slipping.
