Default Topping off the Oil

Okay here is my situation. I own a 2009 Civic Si and am a little low on the oil and want to know what oil to top it off with.

I called up the shop that did the oil change and asked them what oil they used to fill the car with..

The answer I got was Honda Conventional Blend. So should I just go to Honda for a quart of oil?

ALSO the car has 57,000 miles on it... Should I switch to synthetic?

The car uses about half a quart every 1200 miles.. (VTEC A LOT)

You can use any motor oil as long is it's API certified, 5w-30.

5W30 Grade oil as stated above. if you are just topping off you dont have to be overly concerned with mixing oils.
