ok so my trunk lid is fucked, has anyone put a hatch inside their hatch? like a trunk lid in the back of their car. I found one for $40 in great shape but its an hour and half away and I cant take mine off and drive there. thanks for reading and any help

 

I'm pretty sure it will fit in the back seat if you lean it in between the front seats and the back seats all the way on the ground. If not just swap them out there it only takes a few min and you can just leave your old one there.

 

It fits. Fold your back seats down, open the hatch and another hatch will fit in there sideways. If you need to make sure for piece of mind, take your hatch off and fit it in the back, then put it back in for the drive there. They come off pretty easy.

 

i'll measure in the morning but worse comes to worse i'll just change them out.

 

that's what I thought, finally my hatch wont leak...hopefully

 

errr.. if you are getting water in the spare tire well it's not necessarily the hatch. Most of the time the water is coming through the tail lights because the gaskets are worn.
