Default suspension question

i know this sounds like a noob question.. but on my 93 del sol. the guy who had it before me put shitty *** ebay adj coilovers on it. im wanting to get rid of them with some nice lowering springs. do i need to just buy the springs by themselves or do i need like new struts too?

It depends on if your shocks are already blown. If they aren't, they will be soon.

Yes. If you want to stay lowered and are on a budget, go with Koni Yellows with Ground Control springs. The setup can be found new for $700. If your budget is more forgiving ($1200-$1500), KW and AMR both make amazing options.

If you're planning on going back to stock, you can get away without replacing the shocks, as long as they aren't already blown.

Yeah, either save that money and add onto it until you can afford Koni/GC, or buy some OEM springs, go back to stock, then start saving for Koni/GC.
