ok so im looking into buying a 2010 tl for $6k. the car is not starting due to it being involved in a flood. the car is very clean so what can be the problem??????please help

 

Run. A TL that's been afloat is going to have numerous problems with every electrical system going forward. Motor could be locked up from sitting full of water.
A DX civic with manual windows and locks might be a different story, but all the power stuff in a TL is going to be a nightmare.
Only thing it's good for is to find a wreck and transfer everything over to the flood car body, and for $6k that's not a good deal at that point.

 

Agreed, run away. Being a flood car (salvage) it's already worth half of book value and you just subtract from there. Not to mention that nobody will take it as a trade-in.

If the engine is still good and you want everything to work right then your looking at $6K for the car, plus $4K (minimum) for ALL of the electronics, plus labor. I'm betting labor is 100 hours minimum. The going rate for labor right now is $100/hr. Cheap labor is $80/hr so, that's $8K minimum just for labor. That's $18K invested and that doesn't even guarantee that the vehicle won't rust out from under you.
