My R is throwing this code. Theres a gas smell when i turn heR on. any idea what it could be besides the fuel cap? I havent replaced anything on heR yet. Just want to know before i go out and spend a **** load of money and it was only one thing to fix.

EDIT: sorry it couldve been either 90 91 or 93 forgot. Ill have my brother test it out again. (Im in VA getting ready to go back to CA april 3)

 

What ecu are you running

 

Code 90-92 deals with the Evap system, hence the smell of fuel

 

im running stock ecu

EDIT: My fuel cap does click 3 times when i tighten it down. And I just ordered another OEM fuel cap 15mins ago from Acuraoemparts.com.

 

Find a obd2 code scanner to pull the exact code easier to chase down the problem

 

yeah i just might have to do that.. but im pretty sure it has to be p1456
