OP, I just ran into the same problem. Mine was warped. I managed to get it measured and drew out a diagram of it. went to Lowe's and got a piece of hardboard, aka masonite.

I was able to reuse my carpet, but it is fairly easy to buy a roll of trunk carpet at a parts store if you need to.

I kept my drawings and could post them as a pdf if you want to go the DIY route.

From what I have seen most of the ones in the salvage yard are unusable.
