1992 Honda civic trouble starting
1992 Honda Civic LX L4 - 1.5L 1493cc type D15B7 - MFI SOHC
I finally got my car running (started). Changed fuel pump. Changed relay. Pump primes. Car starts. Now it takes 10 minutes for pump to prime and run. I feel that it will just not start at all, eventually. My ECM looks to be my problem, I think. does anyone know how to test it out without getting another one? Or any idea of what is going on?

Is the G101 groound the only ground for the ECU? It seems like only the blue/white wire from ECU don't go on, but the ECU gets power. That is my outlook on my problem.

Re: 1992 Honda civic trouble starting
New here, and to Hondas~ but the guy I got my car thru is the premiere Honda wizard in a 3-county radius. If getting fuel on startup is your issue, a common problem with these is the main relay, tucked up under dash by your left foot. They're pricey little buggers, so he gave me a small wire to jump the fuel pump primer circuit when the occasional no-start occurs~ but it's only happened once, and darned if I remember which two terminals to jump. I'm thinkin a $5 momentary switch (versus a $60 relay) to circumvent the issue for the time being.... Hope this helps... somebody....
