Icon2 ZC trouble

So I picked up a couple CRXs trying to make one out of the two of them. 89 and a 90'. Both have ZCs. Intakes appear to be different...the vacuum lines hook up differently. The engine I'm trying to run is leaking oil out the header. From the research I've done I think it's the exhaust valve seal. I was hoping to just switch the engines heads to avoid trying to change the valves myself.

I believe both engines are 3rd gen ZC (matching valve covers)

Are the heads interchangeable?!

Please throw this rookie a bone

Yeah they're interchangeable. Maybe throw up a pic of them if you want more confirmation. As long as you're not trying to mix sohc and dohc, the zc heads will swap fine as long as you swap all the OBD related gear with it.

Make life easy and use the IM off of the old car too.

Okay cool. Thanks.

Another thing my intake appears to be off a sohc. The throttle position sensor is screwed in. The engines idle is haggard. On ignition it jumps up to 3000 bef

Before* fluxuating between 1500-2500. All the vacuum lines are hooked up correctly and I've inspected both TPS and IACV both seem to be operating. I'm stumped as to what the issue is. I haven't reset the Ecu (don't know how) Ecu has 88' integra written on it.

The intake manifolds aren't interchangeable between dohc and sohc. There was a few iterations for each though depending on which country/which model your zc came from.

Still sounds like there's a vacuum leak, or you've incorrectly connected a line. If you want to put up a couple of pictures i could help with which line goes where.

That ECU is a PG7, which is the closest thing you'll get to the ECU the motor was supposed to come with (pm7). Disconnect your negative battery terminal for 10 seconds, and the ECU will clear its codes. It's not going to have any effect on your idle though. Sort out your vacuum issues and it should be sweet.

This is how my vacuum lines are currently hooked up.

I took pics but it looks like I have to upload them somewhere first.
