Zc sohc obdii swap
I cant seem to find the answer im looking for. I have an EK and was looking to buy a JDM SOHC ZC OBDII. Does anyone know if the ZC engine has all the sensors that the d16y7 has? Thanks.

I could be wrong but I dont think they make an OBDII ZC. They have an OBDI ZC and a OBD0 Dohz ZC and SOHC ZC. They are a couple differences in the y7 and ZC.

Re: Zc sohc obdii swap
Thanks a lot guys. One last question, if I wanted to go back to USDM, will this method affect anything? Also, the method is telling me to completely cut C1 and C11 from the ecu connector, correct? Therefore, all we're doing is cutting C1 and connecting it to C4. Then cutting C11 and connecting it to C14?

Basically yes, you can simply depin C1 and C11 and then tape them off in case you wanted to undo what you did later either without having to splice.

You've been a great help 94EG8, so what your saying is C1 and C11 doesn't need to be wired to the other specified wires. Simply having no connection to those two wires will get rid of the problem. Sorry if you already answered this question, but I just needed to clarify that. Thanks again 94EG8 and all.
