Default z6 swap into 97 ek hatch fuel injectors not working

hello ht. i looked for this topic for a while now and cannot find any similar subjects, i have a complete d16z6 swap in my ek (dropped in today) and everything is plugged in ready to go but after a long process to find out why it would not start. i found out that 2 fuel injectors are not spitting/spraying fuel. my question is,, can the problem be the distributor? i am using my stock d16y7 distrubutor (and yes i know about the bolts not lineing up, it is just a temp dizzy) i herd it might be the dizzy but i have never herd about that before. the ecu is off my y7 and i am using the y7 injectors. i checked all the grounds, main relay, fuel pump but nothing
please help, i need my car running asap. THANKS AHEAD OF TIME and GOD BLESS

are the INJECTORS themselves not spraying fuel? or is the wire harness not sending a pulse to the two injectors?
your timing is dead nuts on i assume. your cam isnt like 180* off..
even so...i think it would start..or should start.
but id bet if you slap in the D16Z6 dizzy, line up your plug wires in the right firing position
turn that bitch to TDC and crank. youll be good to go.

your ecu...**** man i used to read pgmfi.org all damn day...NOW. fuuuuck i wish i remembered the **** i learned. but your ecu unless its tuned or a p28 (z6 stock ecu) might be a problem, because its reading different values for fuel maps..(but should still spray fuel...hrmmmm)

the 2 injectors themselve are not shooting and think they are not getting signal because i put 3 different sets of injectors n them, some obd1, some ond2 an even some obd1 2.2 ones hat where on the 2.2 i had swapped out :/

WHAT!!!? Make sure the other two injectors match the ones that are working. This isn't a Lego set.

Gotcha. So you're saying that every set you swap in the same two injectors do not work?

You need a p28 ecu and use the z6 injectors. Just pop out the blue caps in the obd2 harness.

i have been doing alittle research and i learned that the crackposition sensor is in the z6 dizzy and since i am using the y7 dizzy it does not have a cranksensor plugged in. anyone know if that would have anything to do with the 2 injectors not fireing?

Check whether the two non-working infector clips have battery voltage to body ground with the key in ON(II).

ok, ill check in a bit. my car is at my friends house and i do not think they are getting power/signal because all 3 sets were not fireing out of the same 2 injectors. what could it be is they are not getting power? could it be because i have the wrong ecu on it and dizzy? i have y7 ecu and dizzy rightnow till i find the z6 ecu (p28)

If you take the injector off and look at the harness you will see the blue piece I mentioned. Get some plyers and pull em. They come out easy. You can also reinsert em if you want. Do it so you can use obd1 injectors on obd2 harness

ook so,, i figured out to day that the 2 injectors were getting power but were not quirting so i switched the 2 for the obd2 injectors and they work now. the engine was running perfect before it was pulled out a totaled ej1. i have no idea how the 2 injectors just died like that in the process of the sawp :/ is it bad to run 2 obd1 and 2 obd2 injectors?

Sorry to do it guys lol but I just dropped a z6 in replacement of my y8. And the injectors are not getting current.

z6 ecu on a step down harness
Z6 block
Z6 head
Z6 intake
Y8 injectors
Y8 wire harness
Z6-y8 dizzy swap

Multiple plugs cant seem to plug up.
