how do you install a aftermarket steering wheel
i own a 94 civic sedan automatic, my steering wheel broke when i got in an accident the other day. the whole car is repaired meaning all body work and stuff all i need is this steering wheel. I got a after market steering wheel a NRG but I'm not quite sure how to install it I'm not sure how to put the horn and stuff can someone refer me to a earlier post or can someone explain how to do it. I'm stumped and i need to get this car back on the road again.
You've been here long enough that you could have searched H-T and all of Google for this info. There's TONS of write ups on how to do this.
You should also check your local inspection and road worthiness laws. A large number of localities do not allow aftermarket, non-SRS steering wheels (instant inspection fail in VA, for example). You could have gotten a direct replacement OEM wheel from a junk yard for cheaper than you probably paid for what you have now, but that's a whole different story.
