Default Block and head not right

Ok I'm quite confused. This is from looking at my motor. I drive a 92 hatch. My block is b18b1 which is an integra LS, and the head is 93. I thought LS only ranges from 94-01? That seems weird or maybe I am ignorant of something? Can somebody tell me what the head came from what car? Maybe the previous owner uses a LS block but the head from a different car? Any idea?

How about post the stamps on the head? Just saying it's from a 93 says nothing.

9/3, 2/1, /7, 6/0

The third fraction top number is missing.

I'm sure it has a stamp that says something like pr4-3 or something somewhere. Those are just the year stamps. A pic would be good too.

Ok...I did a few research and people say to look for those numbers where the valve cover and head meet. So whatever the first fraction is that would the correct year. The block is b18b1 so that's a LS for sure. And the head being 93 doesn't tell me if it's OBD1 or OBD2.

OBD1motors are 94-95…OBD2 are 96-01.

And here I have a 93? It doesn't make sense.

Keep in mind 94 was the first year for that body style so it would make sense that things were physically made the previous year. Also a lot of cars are released at different times for different markets. Lastly, OBD1 was 92-95.

Is there a specific reason you are trying to verify this other than you just noticed the stamp?

I heard different year from different people. Other says it was 94-95. Anything 96 and beyond is OBD2. So I check to make sure if it's correct cuz I'm thinking of replacement/upgrades.
