Default newbie needing assistance. .

hey gang, im Jay, new to this forum, but not new to Honda. I recently traded my Civic for a 2005 Honda element. I was just curious as to how to go about replacing the factory speaker set up. I'm just now getting used to life without a sub set up, and I just want something a little more audiophile friendly...any brand suggestions are also welcome...

Thanks gang,
Jay

idk. like look for good speakers and put them in? add a amp?

I got a 4 channel amp in my civic powering 2 300watt 6x9s and just running two polks in the doors off a headunit i installed. i removed the tweeters and it sounds amazing.

Just look for good deals on audio equipment and go about it that way. nobody's going to have info on the best setup for your car. you'll have to piece together your own things.

If door panels have to be removed to get to speakers i'm sure you can google for a video or writeup on doing that. other than that it's your normal audio running processes you'd do for any car.

you might want to check some audio forums for things of that sort as well.

just don't do like i did and try to power heavy wattage speakers from just your headunit and have it clip on you all the time. get a amp if you get power hungry speakers
