I know this said 1990 and 2002 but I'm at work don't have enough time to be looking around. I just became a member 10 minutes ago. Anyways, I have a 1988 accord lxi. It was just suppose to take me to work and back so I could save on gas cause my truck (04 gmc extended cab long bed with a 6 inch lift) was killing me. Long story short I love "The 88" and I want to make it legit. I read up on engine tuning, ask friends, and I just want to do this right. I understand it is more than just the engine that needs to be replaced.

 

The obvious choice (to me) would be a 1st gen B16A. Mounts are available, wiring modification should be minimal, and there is a whole world of aftermarket stuff for B series.

 

Sounds like an awesome project. The Classic Hondas thread would probably be a bigger help.
