I got a check engine light on the way home, only happens in high rpms, if anyone can give me the code and maybe some suggestions, looking for a second opinion..
jump the connecter with the key in th 2(II) postion. i couldn't see exactly how many blinks that was. i'll say 10 which would be the IAT sensor but was to hard to see from the vid.

Junk yard:they'll most likly let you have it. or at most ask 1$ for it, you can clean it give that a try then re-set the ecu. if not replace it.
I can't quite figure out the first code. The second code is 8 though (TDC sensor in the distributor)
Neither code is for IAT though. IAT (code 10) is a single long blink.

So what I've gathered in my opinion is code 8, which is a little hard to believe in a brand new distributor, bought brand new in feb and less than 300 miles on it, any suggestions?

I changed the dizzy and the code went away, just the monkeys at autozone forgot to put a rotor under their new cap and everything and I got a p73 or td 66 dizzy which comes from a type r I believe, not that it makes a difference but I thought it was cool
If it was an aftermarket distributor that wouldn't surprise me at all. They're just not well made at all. If it was a real OEM Honda one then yes I'd be very surprised.
Also, you don't need the engine running to pull the codes.
1) Jump service connector.
2) Turn key to ON(II).
3) Post video that shows the blinking codes until the pattern repeats.
4) Reset the ECU to clear codes.
5) Drive car or run engine until CEL turns on and stays on.
6) Pull CEL codes again.
7) Post all codes that repeat in both tests.
