Well, like the title says;

I went to go wire up my reverse lights as per the 5spd swap thread's directions, and now my car won't start.
I hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the key to ACC, and also delivering fuel when I attempt to crank it. However, nothing else happens at all. No click, no crank, nothing.

PLEASE HELP! This is my daily driver!

 

maybe take a look at the main relay?

 

"Have a look at" it as in replace it? Haha, I'm not much of an electrical guy. I was just following steps

Never had an issue before. I tried to explain the issue as best as I could in the first post, those are the only clues I have as to what may be wrong...

Edit: Overlooked the starter signal wire. Will check within the hour.

 

Dont overlook to wiring needed for the a/t shifter. Not sure of the exact procedure, but something has to be done to make it think its always in park.

 

yeah the starter wire is pretty important.. but the autos do have wiring you need to modify to make it send the starter signal

 

Make sure your starter wires didn't move around and hit 1 another wire or 2 check the ground on your starter.

 

UPDATE: It WAS the starter signal wire

Such a simple thing that I overlooked... I was clipping and unclipping harnesses, following wires, pulling fuses... and it was right in front of my face smh. Big interview tomorrow, I'd be screwed if I couldn't get her up and running! Thanks to all for their input

 

good to hear.. happy to see it was a simple mistake.. those are the cheap and easy ones i prefer to fix
