Default Backfiring? no power with gas hammered.

i dont seem to get any help on here, but ill give it a shot. Im having backfiring issues that happen simultaneously with me shifting gears and if i do anything more than a slight touch of the gas it bogs down and acts as if its going to shut off while the exhaust is just sputtering. anybody? no?

I bet it has the mysterious code 15 that is going around like the flu. Mine is suffering a code 15 and "bogs/misfires when gassed" and/or "instant-stall when gassed" and/or won't start at all some days.

Lmao.. This guy is hilarious.. A code going around like the flu... You should get the code scanned so you can actually deal with the problem if you have a code. 2nd post I've seen where this guy said your car has a code going around like the flu

I do try my best to be positive and humorous. :D As for "getting the code scanned", all you have to do is look under the passenger floor mat and count the red LED blinks. There seems to be way too many cars have backfiring, misfiring, no-start, and/or code-15 problems. Unfortunately, there never seems to be a single simple answer.

Personally, i bought a running parts car so I can swap one part at a time until I find the mischevious part.

What's your fuel pressure? Check your cap and rotor on your distributer and your plugs
