Icon6 code 14! car not starting

I have a 91 accord ex with a code 14 that will not go away and will not start.
This is what happened; I pulled out of my drive headed to the store, got to the end of the road and died pulling up to a stop sign. I tried to re start and only the starter spun, did not engage motor. I tow the car home. I put a new starter on, motor engages no fire. I take the cap of distributer, corroded. I replaced the whole unit. Still nothing. I get into the timing belt compartment, the belt has a set of teeth stripped clean off. I replace, set timing rotate counter clockwise three times several times, had to reset a couple but dead nuts. distributed only fits one way so that should be there to. Still nothing. Fuel pump turns on 2 sec with cel, also loosened valve on fuel rail and got gas. I hook a jumper up to the blue terminal under the dash and the s light gives me a 0 so i get an ecu from the junk yard and it gives me a code 14. I replaced the iacv with a new one, still nothing. I check the code again and still gives me 14. I hooked the old ecu up and stil displays solid cel and s light is off. switch back out, code 14. I'm thinking she's seen her last day but really need this car to run because it is our daily driver and i need to get work. If anyone has ran into this problem I could really use some guidance here. thanks

Did you see if the connections (at the sensor and ECU) or the wires are bad?

Confirm with a compression test that your engine is done...remove the 15A ecu fuse before testing to disable spark and fuel. Be sure your mechanical timing is good. code 14 wouldn't prevent your car from starting.

I will check the connecters and compression and im also going to re check the main relay. Thinking about it I didn't mention that when I turn the key on the RPM gauge goes up to one and than when cranked goes up to 1.5 1.75 2 almost like a battery guage. Turn the key off goes flat.

Sounds like you need a new ignitor/coil.

the ignitor/coil are new as they come with a new distributor unit. I checked the compression with a dry test and got 148 148 120 151. wires and harnesses are good.

could the timing of the front balancer cause the car not to start if it is by a tooth or two, when the rest of the timing is on?
