del Sol motor

Does anyone know if a stock sohc non-vtec engine out of a del Sol would fit in a 89 civic?

Yep, use your stock mounts and your stock transmission. Activate Vtec with a switch and use your electonics and fuel injectors or convert your electronics to OBD1.

so the motor will just drop in without any modifications? Also, will my stock tranny bolt up to it?

use stock motor mounts, tranny, shift linkage.,..
