i wanted to bring down my idle to at least 800 today( stock gsr is 750)
but following the service manual i have to disconnect IACV and adjust the ide untill the engine is idling at 480rpm thats fn impossible.
engine dies at around 550( the one in my sig)
can i just set it to 600rpm with iacv unplugged? and then let it learn the idle?
i adjust the tiing to 16 degrees and set the idle speed in neptune accordingly every time and also adjust fuel maps to run at 14.2 or so. any higher afr and it starts tweaking.

Just set it at 800 in Neptune. If that's not enough, close the idle screw a little bit.
Kinda weird that your car won't idle above 14.2 though.

It does but i can hear its not smooth.
I dont belive eithere of those ways are correct.
Whats the reason for setting the idle to 480rpm when iacv is disconnected?
