p30 h-f3 intake mani question
I need help finding out where a vacuum line is supposed to connect to. Here is a picture of the same IM that is in my car.

I need to know where that top one needs to go to. Anyone have a helpful answer?

you could have been more specific you just have a bare IM sitting in that pic that's why you didn't get many answers. but jpb gave you a diagram did that answer you'r question.
So it goes to the evap purge control? Is it possible to bypass it by connecting it to say the pcv vacuum line since I have one of those mini k&n filters in its place anyway?
Correct me if that doesn't make sense.

What hose are you talking about can you circle it in "paint" and then re post the pic. i'd recomend hooking up all lines where they belong not putting a breather on it (especialy vac lines) as they can mess with you'r idle.

Unfortunately I can't edit pictures cause all I have to use internet on is my phone.
The vac line I'm talking about is the one that is on the front left side of the intake manifold.

If I remember his other thread correctly, he's talking about the one you circled in red.
You don't need to bypass it, OP, you can just cap the line.

The red one is the line I was trying to figure out where it went, which it goes the the evap. The place I want to hook it up to is not shown on that diagram. I want to know if I can run a hose from the vac line circled in red to one that is almost directly below it in the intake manifold.
Because the red is already capped and causing the idle to be too low. I need air flow for the idle to rise to correct level. Should I just run it to the evac?
FIRST hook up everything correctly(or as best you can) then look at the TB there is a screw w/nut that you can play with to raise or lower you'r idle you'll need to calibrate you'r tps after if you decide to play with it. you'r idle should be at 750 -/+ 50
No, you should properly set your idle speed. There's more to it than "just fiddle with that screw".

As far as I can tell, once there is proper vacuum flow the idle is right where it should be. Now that I know where the vacuum line is meant to run to I'll just have to hook it up there and pray for the best cause tps calibration is a pain.
