Recently my car hasn't been able to start. I've been having to have someone push it to be able to start it.
is it the starter? or something else?
when I try and turn it on it doesn't grind or do anything.
Please help

 

ya could be the starter do you know if its getting fuel? tap on the starter with a wrench or something then try and start it might just need the terminals cleaned on the starter thats all mine needed it was doing the same thing

ya or you can use a tester and test it might be the best but whatever is easier for you but if it is the starter dont go buy a new one till you at least clean the terminals off usually they are just dirty and built up with crap so do that first and if its still bad then go buy a new one

that's most liklely you'r starter if you require a push to get it going but at least it starts. i'd just replace it that must be a pain to deal with.

 

for the price of a starter its worth the money. I paid 28 bucks for mine from a scrap yard and works like a charm.

 

most likley it just needs clean mine went out and i went and bought a new one it was like 160 took my old one off and found it needed cleaned thats all but if you want deff put a new one on just trying to save you money

 

You guys all seem to say the starter. I haven't had time to take it to my mechanic but when I do I'll let him know to clean it first and see if it works before he goes to buy one.

save some money and clean it you'r self. it's easy to remove and put back

this is how to take it off you just need to un do the bolts that hold the poitive and negative wires and clean. if it still doesnt work then take it off put the new on
