Hello fellow members, recently I had my heads done on my y8 along with a tune up, new water pump, timing belt etc (all the normal stuff that needs to b done when your car jumps time due to lack of maintenance from previous owner) anywho, this problem has been going on for a while now and it's just irritating. My idle jumps up and down, coolant squirts out from time to time and I smell gas when whenever I get out of my car. I read that the idle problem could b because of a clogged IACV but this being my 1st car, I don't really know as much I need, but I'm ready to learn. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated

 

HEAD** for the idle clean you'r iacv, for the coolant issue bleed the system/check for leaks. Gas smell make sure you'r injectors are seated properly/o-rings are ok look around the fuel rail for any leaks while the car is on
