Rsx muffler on eg sedan?
I've searched and only found it on hatches and coupes has any one put a Rsx muffler on their eg sedan? If so did u have any fitment issues? And pics if possible thank you in advance
That's what I thought also but I went to a shop yesterday and they are trying to say it won't work or at least work coming it the stock exhaust cut out in the bumper because since the.canister is so big that it will hit the floor of the trunk so I'm trying to confirm if anyone else has one on their sedan worst case scenario I'll just have to cut the hole in the bumper for the exhaust tip more toward the passenger side
So does anyone have this muffler on a sedan and what did u do?

no it doesnt help because ive seen other threads already of them on coupes and hatches im trying to confirm for a sedan
no where in my post does it say the word piping i asked if anyone has done it and if they ran into any issues and yes the shop i went to does custom piping and from what they were trying to say is that from the tip to exit out the oem location wont work because the canister/pan will hit the floor of the trunk but im unsure how true this actuall is since they didnt even try they assumed just by looking at it
so any information from someone who actually has a rsx-s muffler on a eg sedan and if it makes any difference its a 05-06 spec muffler

Well if they didn't even try...go somewhere else don't take thier word for it. i've deen rsx muffelrs on EK's,EG's and EJ's plenty of times the rear section is pretty much the same across the EG coupe, hatch, sedan
Well I hate how the stock muffler looks and id rather have a cost efficient quite exhaust over some cheap loud n1 style muffler and Rsx-s exhaust has a similar look to a ws2,rs-r,sp2 but cheaper and it's 2.1" piping which is a small upgrade from the 1.75" stock size so mostly it cosmetically looks better it's y plus I got it dirt cheap

Its literally a musical instrument... So you can remove what I highlighted from the equation.
So essentially, your swapping a stock muffler for a "different" stock muffler..
Sure it looks a bit beefier, but you could just move back your stock muffler and weld a tip on it...
I'm getting the impression you've got the mod bug and you think your going to get some sort of HP improvement..
Have you ever seen what the inside of an RSX muffler looks like?

^^ I was just going to post that. If you seen it on a coupe why would it not work on a sedan seeing as companies like Apexi make a big canister WS2 to fit the sedan and coupe.
Just go to a different shop as they dont want to be bothered with your business.
