Periodically I will be updating this thread. Just now started so Ill bring you all up to Par.


Live in NKY, about 10 minutes south of Cincinnati Ohio. Love hondas, and live with 4 guys that all drive hondas!


To start off I began my Honda journey with an all Original Del Sol Vtec.

It was Milano red and it was beautiful.





It wasnt too long after this that I actually totaled it. :/ Loved this car too, sols hold a soft spot for me.



Actually still drove with a donut lol.



So we trailered it to a buddys, in the pouring down rain. We stripped it of everything we could, pulled the motor and set it aside. PArted out the rest, and began looking for a new project. Ended up finding an immaculate Eg hatch on HT in my area and jumped on it. The car only had a z6 when i picked it up.




Within a week or so we had the b16 swapped, and now it was on..



From here i just collected parts, did the interior up nice with oem goodies



Eventually i got some track rs - woooh first wheels



Cleaned up the bay abit



Eventaully I got some Kosei K1s and did a rear disc swap





Eventually I got some trade offers, ended up going with an ek hatch because my dads friends son offered. It needed the front end painted so I was hesitant. But it was a gorgeous color and and he assured me he had paint for it. Well He didn’t. Kinda screwed me lol.

Hard to tell but it was a pearlescent tricoat, crazy green. Anyways he didn’t have the paint as promised so I just decided “Time for a full makeover” Went 96-98 front end and started sourcing SiR bumpers!
Main reason I Traded: JDM GSR B18c with some ctr cams and various bolt ons

Strarted looking around and Found some Sir seats at a good price.


So it was sanded down, ready for paint with no paint. She started getting uglier and uglier from here



Eventually found a 96-98 front end and a rear sir bumper



Drove it around like this a few months and eventually got it to paint!!
Did Jams and all

Guy painting it even fixed my hella fu**ed bumper!


And shes nearing completion



And Done!:



Drove around on my dads wheels for a few days!


Then copped a set of blades and a hood bra (waiting to run as the paints fresh)


Now I am running on SSR competitions, getting bigger tires this week.





And just copped some fresh interior bits:



And that brings us up to speed!

 

Plans include fully building the gsr after IA and eventually grtting another daily and some track time under the belt!

Also just did a fresh disc swap with all adjustable arms and poly bushings and SS lines. Fronts are next.

Ordered a fakeass sir lip so i have something at least. Eventually will find a ctr lip.

Also about to throw on the stanley fogs i have sitting.

Need to clean my bay, been way too cold haha.

Wow. Great work on this EK. That thing was quite the rainbow of colours before paint. How much did the paint job run you?

Also liked your EG ... did it go in to good hands when you traded it?

 

I've never seen that radio bezel or w.e, what model is it from? or was it optional?

 

^ That's from an Acura EL (= Domani) ... an upscale Civic here in Canada. I've got one of those setups but never got around to putting it up for sale.

I know ive just been too lazy to order one haha antenna just broke

 

AEM had a hole in it, copped a new intake from my brother. The pcv line from theVC to the intake doesnt line up at all now, so I am about to tap my VC and run a catch can. Can you say AN fittings? >.>

ALSO: As soon as my tires sell, I am picking up a CTR 5 lug. It has full hardrace bushing kit, hawk pads, stainless lines etc. FRESH!
