97 crv misfire ????

Default 97 crv misfire ????

Hey guys I have a 97 crv it dose have 330000 miles on her and runs amazing till know it has a misfire on 1 and 3 and it all started after I cleaned the injectors with sea foam I changed the roter and plugs and tested the coil and thoes are good idk y it stared would any of you guys know lmk thanks

I just let the end of them sit in sea foam and wiped them off .and I was wondering if the injectors are bad could I use 99 si injectors ???

Just replaced wires and it stopped and ran amazing for like an hour and check light came on agen any ideas??

cap/rotor in dizzy? timing needs adjustment? fuel filter needs replacing? bad spark plugs?

Blinking CEL means its the cat! either heating up really bad or its done.

Now it is throwing a tdc code but I replaced fuel filter rotor plugs wires and coil

did you adjust the valves? people recommend changing them every 30,000 miles because they tighten over time on B20's. Adjust them to the loose side there's a pretty good write up in the sticky on hondasuv.com forums for it. i think it was .008 exhaust and .005 intake. Once they are burned though it's pretty much a whole head job.

TDC code means you need to adjust your timing. Your timing belt could be loose or worn.

wow. a lot of misinformation in this thread.
your tdc sensor is located inside the distributor. it is non-serviceable. it is a pm generator. you can test it's output with a test light. hook the test light up[ across the 2 tdc pins at the distributor connector. crank the engine. the light should flash if the sensor has output. if it doesn't, replace the distributor
