Default Quick Mid pipe question

Does quality matter on the b-pipe for our cars. Is it ok if I use the b-pipe form this http://www.ebay.com/itm/390446786896

Instead of a megan midpipe? The cheapest I was able to find the midpipe for was 170 plus taxes ( for the megan )

Should I save myself 70+ bucks? or toss em over for the quality. I haven't seen or heard anyone with JUST the megan midpipe. So If not , I might be the guinea pig.

thanks in advance for opinions

Please save your money and buy a quality exhaust system from a reputable company. That Ebay junk will rust out and most likely sound terrible. I believe the OEM RSX-S midpipe fits our cars and members have been upgrading our stock ones to those for a little extra flow.

Don't forget that you also need a Type-S header + cat or a Type-S race header to run the Type-S midpipe, at least with no modification

I would, but I like the way my car sounds right now. I don't want any drastic changes since it already sounds nice and isn't loud at all. But your right, I don't want anything rusting on my car. Hopefully it doesn't sound too bad with just the megan midpipe.

( I just think the full aftermarket exhausts are too loud btw)

Oh and I already have a DC header for my car. So I probly won't want to get that whole type S conversion.
